Custom Caterers is a family owned and operated, full service catering company. We are centrally located in Historic Micanopy, Florida between Gainesville and Ocala where we established our business in 1986. Our business started small by catering weddings and parties for our close friends.
Owners Janina and Dan Dylla, UF and Santa Fe Alumni, along with their devoted family members, take pride in serving several offices at the University of Florida, Santa Fe, and numerous other businesses. We provide unique Candlelight Dinners for the award winning Herlong Mansion Bed and Breakfast, located in historic Micanopy, Magnolia Planation, located in Gainesville, Fla. and the Camellia Rose Inn also in Gainesville, Fla. Custom Caterers is proud to be the in-house caterer for the Herlong Mansion Bed and Breakfast. We have catered over a 1,000 weddings so far and have formed long lasting relationships with our Brides and Grooms.
Our primary mission is to offer fresh, delicious, whole foods at affordable prices served by our friendly, knowledgeable staff. We serve as few as 2 and catered as many as 6,000 guests at the Shands Teaching Hospital 50 years anniversary. We enjoy working with customers to create menus, and atmosphere to fill their needs. Our business is growing as we have added our new, young Pastry Chef to our team. She is thrilling her customers with delicious, beautiful and special occasion Cakes and Deserts.
